08/31/2026 - Amendment 0001 - The purpose of this amendment is to remove the Nonmanufacturer Rule (52.219-33) due to it not being applicable to solicitations below the SAT ($350k). There are no other changes. Offer due date is not extended. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1240LP26Q0165 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase of one (1) portable, hand-held X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) analyzer for the USDA Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Region (Region 2). This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 334516 — Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
