Coastwide Beach and Dune Ecosystem Restoration

The intent of this specification is to populate the proposed dune footprint with dune vegetation in a planting scheme that will naturally accumulate sand and promote natural dune building. Planting will be completed following the sand fence installation. Sand fencing and plantings are designed to promote additional growth of the dune system by disrupting the flow of windblown sand.
