West 44th Avenue and Tabor Street Signal Poles

The City of Wheat Ridge is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a new four-way traffic signal at the intersection of Tabor Street and W 44th Avenue. The work will be performed in accordance with completed plans and specifications and will include installation of the new traffic signal system, reconstruction of ADA curb ramps at each corner of the intersection, and associated signage and pavement striping improvements. The project is intended to improve intersection safety, traffic control, and operational efficiency, while also enhancing pedestrian accessibility through ADA-compliant upgrades. Construction is anticipated to begin in late summer or early fall, subject to scheduling and contract award.
