This project consists of traffic barrier replacement on US36 from MM 14.83 TO 16.04, between Lyons and Estes Park. The existing Type 3 barrier will be replaced with deep post Type 3 barrier and 3 locations will have moment slabs and Type 10 Mash Bridge Rail where the traditional Type 3 barrier cannot be installed due to steep slopes. Drainage and slope improvements are also within the scope of work for this project. No night work is anticipated. Project will have a delayed start with a "start no earlier" date of February 1, 2027.
