Description
The City seeks proposals from qualified consultants to update and modernize the City’s existing Public Art Management Plan. The updated plan should provide a clear, actionable, and sustainable framework for the management, funding, maintenance, acquisition, deaccessioning, and long-term stewardship of the City’s public art collection. The consultant shall work collaboratively with City staff, the Cultural Commission, and other stakeholders to produce a contemporary, user-friendly document that reflects current best practices in public art administration and collection management. The existing Public Art Management Plan shall serve as a foundational document for this effort; however, the City expects the selected consultant to critically evaluate and improve existing policies, procedures, organizational structure, and implementation strategies.
