Description
Amendment 0003 - Revised Bid Schedule. Amendment 0002 - Revision to bid schedule and specifications concerning excavation for stone dikes and tiebacks, emphasis on bidder responsibility to coordinate on haul routes with counties involved. Amendment 0001 - Updated description to include instructions for finding documents through PIEE Solicitation Module links. W912EE - The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) Solicitation Number W912EE26BA004 for Chickasaw County, Mississippi, Mississippi Delta Headwaters Project, Bank Stabilization 23-01. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment, and constructing three 3 grade control structures in Chickasaw County, Mississippi. Principle features of work for the grade control structures include clearing and grubbing; excavation, backfill, embankment, control of water; storm water pollution prevention; and environmental protection. The project has a completion period of 180 Calendar Days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. This IFB will be for one (1) Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract. This procurement is advertised as a total HUBZone small business set-aside under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $45 Million. Bids will be evaluated based on lowest price submitted. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $1 Million and $5 Million. Compact disc and hard copies will not be available. Telephone and fax requests for this solicitation will not be honored. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations. Amendments, if/when issued, will be posted to the above referenced website for electronic downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing. Bidders must have and maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://sam.gov and must include the NAICS code they are bidding under to receive a Government contract award. If the bidder is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award a bidder is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective bidder.
