Description
The purpose of this notice is to comply with the public posting requirements of FAR Part 5 and FAR 6.103-1. The scope of work includes the supply of genuine manufacturer approved components for the existing system. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 12. Competition was limited because only one responsible source is reasonably available to satisfy the Government's minimum requirements. In accordance with FAR 6.301, Requirement for Justification, the Contracting Officer determined not to identify the awardee by name in this justification. The award was made to the only responsible source capable of ensuring the continued safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation of the existing Solar Panel System in support of Embassy Belmopan mission requirements. The acquisition was awarded as a firm-fixed-price purchase order. The total estimated value of the acquisition is USD49,572.89.
