Description

The procurement is for one Solar Powered Wedge Traffic Barrier System, including: Minimum 20-ft clear opening for large vehicles. Solar-powered battery system with continuous and backup power (no charging downtime). Solar charge controller, external pole mounts, and traffic warning light. ASTM M30-rated crash panel. Galvanized carbon steel construction capable of high-desert environmental exposure. Portable system, weight not exceeding 7.5 tons; surface-mount placement (no ground-anchoring). Yellow/white high-visibility finish. Hinged crash plate, integrated controls, and operability verification. Delivery, installation materials, setup labor, familiarization training, and testing at Camp Roberts. Delivery NTE 120 days, installation/testing NTE 60 days from award. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations, and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement.
