TOS CC-104 Multi-Location Near Miss and Street Safety Analytics Study for School Safety

This project aims to conduct a thorough safety evaluation of at least 20 critical intersections in Los Angeles to support the Vision Zero initiatives. Leveraging advanced video processing techniques and extensive multi-day data collection, the contractor will capture video, then use that video to identify and analyze "near miss" conflict pairs along with other hazardous roadway maneuvers. Our objective is to identify the signal phase for each direction during analysis, without connection to the signal controller, to facilitate the development and implementation of targeted infrastructure or policy solutions to enhance the safety of all road users.
