Description
Stanislaus Council of Governments (StanCOG) has acquired properties in preparation for future highway improvements along State Route 99 (SR-99) and State Route 132 (SR-132). This project involves providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove designated trees, stumps, and associated vegetation and perform weed abatement within project areas located along SR-132 and SR-99 corridors. The purpose of this effort is to clear project sites, support right-of-way development, and mitigate safety risks in preparation for upcoming construction activities associated with planned highway improvements. All work shall include proper removal, hauling, and disposal of vegetative materials, as well as protection of adjacent infrastructure and utilities. Contractors must comply with all applicable environmental regulations and safety requirements. Due to potential environmental considerations, contractors may be notified of sensitive conditions, and all work shall be performed in accordance with project specifications.
