Rubber Testing for Electrical Safety Equipment - Professional Services Agreement

The City of Anaheim (" Anaheim ") Public Utilities Department (" APU ") issues this Request for Proposals (“ RFP ”) to interested respondents (" Respondent " or " Respondents ") to solicit competitive proposals to provide rubber testing services for electrical safety equipment and to supply replacement equipment and related goods as needed (" Goods " and " Services "). The City reserves the right to award a contract to one or more Respondents, as determined to be in the best interest of the City. If multiple awards are made, each selected Respondent will be responsible for providing the Goods and Services described in the Scope of Work and Specifications Section and any attachments hereto (collectively, the "Deliverables"), as specified in the award and resulting Agreement. After identifying one or more successful Respondents, the City will negotiate a Professional Services Agreement (" Agreement "), which may include a best-and-final offer. The Agreement must substantially conform to the requirements outlined in Anaheim's Pro Forma Agreement (included herewith) and must substantially conform to the requirements outlined in the Agreement and Required Provisions Section of this RFP. Any resulting Agreement will take effect upon mutual execution, after Anaheim secures all necessary approvals from its approving bodies.
