DWR is seeking a Federal Governmental Relations Consultant to assist with: 1) Planning, designing and executing federal flood and flood management related multi-purpose water resources and environmental projects 2) Securing federal funding for flood management activities and flood management related water resources and environmental projects. 3) Amending federal policies, regulations, and laws related to federal funding for flood and flood management related water resources and environmental projects 4) Amending federal policies, regulations, and laws related to floodplain management and flood insurance (5) Securing federal funding to improve sub-seasonal to seasonal (S2S) precipitation forecasting (6) Strengthening its cooperative efforts with federal agencies involved
