RFP 26-07 Construction Management Services - Fire Station Construction (Multiple Sites)

The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District (District or Metro Fire) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive construction management services to support the delivery of four (4) new fire stations, being delivered as design-bid-build projects. The Scope of Services shall generally include both pre-construction phase and construction phase activities including design review, constructability and cost estimating, bidding process support, construction administration, and construction observation, as more fully outlined herein. The construction of the projects will be completed under a separate public works contract(s) administered by the District with assistance from the District’s Architect (COAR Design Group) and the District’s Construction Manager (successful proposer), in accordance with a strict schedule whereby time is of the essence. Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for the projects include the County of Sacramento, City of Citrus Heights, and City or Rancho Cordova.
