Request for Proposals for Contract Administration and Construction Inspection Services (Ca/Ci) For: Intersection Improvements at Los Alisos/Muirlands and Bake/Toledo

Project Title Short Description of Services Second Left-turn Lanes in All Directions at Los Alisos and Muirlands The purpose of this project is to construct street improvements to provide a second left-turn lane for all directions at the intersection of Los Alisos Blvd. and Muirlands Blvd. The proposed improvements include widening of northbound Muirlands; restriping of eastbound Los Alisos; removal of existing raised median and restriping of westbound Los Alisos; and construction of pedestrian bridges on the east and west side of Muirlands over the Aliso Creek drainage channel. Meadows Traffic Improvements: Bake/Toledo This project provides dual left-turn lanes for northbound Toledo Way, while maintaining the existing southbound Toledo Way bike lane and allowing for a northbound Toledo Way de-facto lane. The proposed improvements include widening of Toledo south of Bake on both sides; median modifications on eastbound Bake to lengthen the left turn pocket; traffic signal modifications; construction of a retaining wall on the west side of Toledo; and restriping.
