Request for Proposal for Collection Services

Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed Collection Agencies to provide professional debt collection services for delinquent utility accounts. Service include, locating and contacting former customers, recovering outstanding balances, processing payments, maintaining accurate account records, and providing regular collection activities and performance reports. The selected contractor will be expected to maximize recovery of outstanding receivables while minimizing cost to AMP, ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, and mainintaing professional and respectful customer interactions.
