Provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, permits and taxes necessary to replace a submersible well pump, pump controller, pump house appurtenances, replace one and a quarter inch (1 ¿¿) water main with two-inch (2¿) water Main, fire flow testing and other miscellaneous work. Location of Services: Merced River Hatchery, 4998 Robinson Road, Snelling, CA 95369, Merced County Mandatory Jobwalk ¿ July 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM License Required: A ¿ General Engineering Contractor, or B ¿ General Building Contractor, with C-57 ¿ Well Drilling Contractor for well pump replacement Estimated Cost: $ 160,000.00 Participation in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program (DVBE): The minimum DVBE participation percentage goal is 3%. Failure to fulfill the DVBE requirement will render your bid non-responsive. DVBE Incentive: For evaluation purposes only, an incentive will be given to bidders who exceed the 3% DVBE participation requirements. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders. Small Business Preference and Small Business Subcontractor participation: A five percent (5%) Small Business Preference will be granted to properly certified small businesses (a copy of your certification must be submitted with the bid proposal). As of March 1, 2015, Senate Bill 854 requires that ¿No Contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations for projects greater than $25,000.00¿.
