Meeting Facilitation Services

County of San Mateo seeks proposals from firms to provide facilitation services for County Boards, Commissions, and Committees and multiple government and community-based organizations. Needed services include, but are not limited to, meeting planning and management, meeting debriefing, and supporting member onboarding and engagement to ensure diverse and representative participation. The Contractor will also develop and disseminate accessible communication materials and manage meeting logistics, which may include multilingual interpretation to support full participation. Additionally, the Contractor will evaluate and advise on agenda development, meeting engagement strategies, cross-collaboration, and opportunities to strengthen committee operations and member representation. The San Mateo County Boards, Commissions, and Committees’ mission is to advise governmental bodies in their decision-making process through direct citizen participation.
