The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office operates two adult correctional facilities in Redwood City: the Maguire Correctional Facility (MCF) and the Maple Street Correction Center (MSCC). The mission of the Corrections Division is to protect public safety, reduce recidivism, and improve the quality of life for those we serve by operating safe and secure correctional facilities. The Sheriff’s Office is committed to helping the incarcerated population during their time in custody and to preparing them to reenter the community. The Sheriff’s Office is requesting proposals from organizations that provide programs and other supportive services to the justice-involved population.
