Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, travel, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to collect and analyze water samples, store, transport, and legally dispose of any purge/wastewater, and prepare technical reports, notifications, and permit renewal documents to assist Caltrans with compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES) and Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permits (collectively, ¿permits¿). Bidder shall have at time of bid submittal, continually thereafter, and for the duration of the Agreement, a current and valid Water Treatment Operator Grade T1 or greater Certification from the California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB). Bidder shall have at time of bid submittal, continually thereafter, and for the duration of the Agreement, a current and valid Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Certificate of initial 40 hours of training and annual eight (8) Hour Refresher training from each employee, prior to the start of respirator work. The laboratory performing water testing shall have at time of bid submittal, continually thereafter, and for the duration of the Agreement, a current and valid Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) Certification and appear on the list of Certified Laboratories. Bidder shall possess at the time of bid submittal, continuously thereafter, and for the duration of the Agreement, a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Caltrans will verify bidder¿s DIR registration; it is not necessary to provide a copy. A Contractor or Subcontractor performing only the lab testing is exempt from the DIR registration
