IFB 9CA07979 - Medical Consultant Services

Contractor shall provide occupational medical consultation and technical medical oversight in support of CAL FIRE Medical Assessment Unit (MAU), including the review of occupational medical evaluations and medical clearance determinations for employees subject to occupational medical requirements. Contractor shall consist of an individual physician or a group of physicians (Doctor of Medicine (MD) and/or Doctor of Osteopathic (DO)). If Contractor is a group, a Lead Medical Consultant shall be designated and shall be responsible for coordination of services, quality assurance, consistency of medical determinations, and all deliverables under this Agreement. Contractor shall work in coordination with CAL FIRE MAU management and staff to ensure services are provided in a timely, consistent, and professional manner. Services are needed to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and occupational health standards while supporting CAL FIRE's operational readiness and employee safety.
