SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Galley Uniforms for USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71) NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego (FLCSD) NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego (FLCSD) is conducting market research to identify industry capabilities and potential sources for the procurement of galley uniforms for food service personnel aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Background The USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) requires new food service uniforms to ensure all food service personnel are properly attired in accordance with NAVSUP 486 and Navy standards. Uniforms are required for personnel working in various galleys, mess decks, wardrooms, and the Chief Petty Officer (CPO) mess. Scope of Work The contractor shall provide and deliver food service uniforms as specified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) (Attachment 1) and Material Breakdown List (Attachment 2). Uniforms must meet the material, color, and customization requirements outlined in the SOW and attachments. Uniform Types Include: Chef coats (various colors, sleeve lengths, and customizations) Cook pants (black, elastic waist, drawstring) T-shirts (custom, various colors and logos) Smocks Uniform types, sizes, unit quantities, item descriptions, fabric types, and sleeve lengths are detailed in the attached Material Breakdown List. All uniforms must: Be suitable for food service operations and comply with NAVSUP 486. Include logos and text as specified for each uniform type. Be durable, comfortable, and appropriate for shipboard food service environments. Delivery Requirements Delivery Location: SW3244 DLA Distribution 656 Rogers Rd, Bldg 656-15 MPC North Island San Diego, CA 92135-5017 Delivery Date: All uniforms must be delivered no later than 08 September 2026. Requested Information Interested parties are requested to submit a Statement of Capability (no more than 5 pages) that includes the following: Business size category (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), SDVOSB, HUBZone, WOSB) Unique Entity ID and CAGE code Any relevant Federal contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, Seaport-e) Demonstration of your company’s ability and capacity to provide the required uniforms, including past performance on similar contracts Suggestions for alternate NAICS codes, if applicable (current NAICS: 315210, Cut and Sew Apparel Contractors; size standard: $19.0M) Any additional information that would assist the Government in refining the requirement or acquisition strategy Submission Instructions Responses should be submitted electronically via email to Raul R Alcantara, NAVSUP FLCSD, at raul.r.alcantara.civ@us.navy.mil. Proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. Additional Information The Government is interested in responses from all business sizes, including small business concerns. No contract will be awarded based on responses to this Sources Sought notice. Telephonic requests for information will not be honored.
