San Francisco Public Works Request for Proposals for Pre-Construction Engineering and Design Services Port of San Francisco – Waterfront Resilience Program San Francisco Public Works (Public Works) announces a Request for Proposals (RFP) on behalf of the Port of San Francisco (Port) for professional planning, engineering, design, and related services for the Waterfront Resilience Program (WRP) Preliminary Engineering and Design (PED) Project. The City intends to award two (2) contracts: one (1) for the northern Plan Area (PED-North) and one (1) for the southern Plan Area (PED-South). Proposers may submit a Proposal for one or both Plan Areas. A separate Proposal is required for each Plan Area. The selected consultants will provide Pre-Construction Engineering and Design (PED) services to support the continued development and implementation of the Port’s Waterfront Resilience Program, including plan development, engineering and design, and design support during bidding and construction. Contract Terms: The PED-North contract will have a not-to-exceed (“NTE”) amount of $65,000,000, and the PED-South contract will have an NTE amount of $50,000,000. Each contract will have an initial term of ten (10) years.
