Description
The San Francisco International Airport (Airport) is seeking proposals from qualified firms, teams, joint ventures, or other qualified business entities for Design-Build Services for the Terminal Upper-Level Viaduct Resurfacing Project (Project). The Project will rehabilitate the elevated terminal roadway that supports the Airport’s upper-level curbside operations and modify portions of the Central Garage. The Project will repair deteriorated pavement, leaking expansion joints, and damaged roadway barrier rails; modify portions of the Central Garage ramps; and improve pedestrian safety, accessibility, and curbside infrastructure through enhancements such as rectangular rapid flashing beacons at terminal crosswalks and new bus shelters. The Work will be delivered within an active, operational environment and will require careful phasing and coordination with various Airport and airline stakeholders to minimize impacts to terminal operations and traveling passengers.
