CD1 Sidewalk Vendor Organizer

Sidewalk vending is an important source of income for many residents in the City of Los Angeles and plays a critical role in sustaining working families and community-based economies, particularly within Council District 1 (CD 1).There are multiple high-activity vendor hubs across the district that would benefit from consistent, on-the-ground engagement from sidewalk vendor organizers. These regular touch points will support vendors through information sharing, relationship-building, and problem solving, while also assisting CD 1 in maintaining orderly, accessible, and safe public rights-of-way.
