Description

The City of Rancho Cordova, Department Name Department is soliciting request for proposals for Basic Project Description The City of Rancho Cordova invites artists to submit their qualifications for six (6) artist-in-residence opportunities connected to the Zinfandel Bicycle and Pedestrian Overcrossing (ZinBPOC) Artist Residency Program. The Program will support artists in developing temporary public artworks, performances, installations, or other approved public art activities that engage the community. Selected artists will participate in a structured professional-development program, work with City and community partners, and develop a temporary project or projects for presentation at or in relationship to the ZinBPOC corridor. The program is intended to build public-art experience, support creative placemaking, and strengthen connections between the communities north and south of Highway 50 in Rancho Cordova. Incomplete proposals will not be considered. Budget: $18,000 divided between a $6,000 Artist Stipend and up to $12,000 in production and installation available.
