Description
Purpose: Support organizations throughout California that serve multiple counties with equity priority factors located in areas at moderate to high risk of disaster. Community-based organizations (CBOs) throughout the State subgrant to a variety of local CBO partners to provide disaster training and resources to diverse populations disproportionately impacted by emergencies. The purpose of the Listos California Statewide Grant (LS) Program is to support organizations throughout California that serve multiple counties with equity priority factors located in areas at moderate to high risk of disaster. Community-based organizations (CBOs) throughout the State subgrant to a variety of local CBO partners to provide disaster training and resources to diverse populations disproportionately impacted by emergencies. This work is intended to increase their communities’ disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation capabilities. Eligible Applicants: To be eligible, Applicants must be a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status. Each Applicant must identify its entire organization’s service area not restricted by jurisdictional boundaries. Eligible Geographies: California
