Description
Purpose: The purpose of the XD Program is to provide victims of domestic violence with safe, permanent housing and ongoing, supportive services tailored to address the individual needs of each victim. Examples of supportive services include transportation subsidies, financial assistance, career training, employment assistance, legal assistance, counseling, childcare, and temporary rental assistance. Eligible Applicants: To be eligible to submit a proposal, Applicants must be a governmental or non-governmental entity and meet the additional requirements on page two. Eligible Geographies: All California counties. Matching Funding: The Program is supported through the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Victim Assistance Formula Grant Program (Formula Grant Program) • Supports eligible crime victim assistance programs. • Requires a cash and/or in-kind match equal to 20 percent of the total project cost. Applicants may request a partial or full match waiver (match waiver requests are not considered during the Proposal Rating process).
