K-5 and 6-8 English Language Arts Core Curriculum Adoption

Introduction In accordance with the School District Procurement Rules in the Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.), promulgated by the State Board of Education pursuant to A.R.S. 15-213, proposals for the materials and services specified will be received by Tempe Elementary School District (the "District") electronically through OpenGov. Proposals received by the correct date and time will be opened, and only the names of the Offerors will be publicly read and recorded. All other information in the proposals will remain confidential until award is made. Summary Tempe Elementary School District is seeking to adopt a comprehensive English Language Arts (ELA) core curriculum for grades K–8. This includes textbooks, digital resources, and supplemental resources. Because District schools are configured as K–5 and 6–8, the District is seeking a K–5 program and a 6–8 program. Proposals will be accepted from October 5, 2026 through October 28, 2026 and must be submitted through OpenGov. Questions and all procurement correspondence should be directed to Lupita Talamantes, Assistant Director of Purchasing. Please do not send physical products or instructional materials at this time. The District will request physical samples from finalists only. Digital review access is required with each proposal (see Section 6).
