Description

Glendale Union High School District is soliciting Statement of Qualifications from qualified and experience Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) firms to provide preconstruction and construction services for improvements at Independence High School, located at 6602 N 75th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85303. The project is anticipated to include the evaluation, planning, estimating, design coordination, preconstruction services, and construction associated with the remodeling and/or renovation of existing facilities and/or the construction of a new standalone building at the Independence High School campus. The final scope of work will be developed during the preconstruction/design phase and may include, but is not limited to, demolition, site improvements, architectural improvements, structural work, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology, fire protection, accessibility improvements, utility infrastructure, landscaping, and other related improvements necessary to complete the project. The selected CMAR will be expected to provide professional preconstruction services, constructability review, cost estimating, value engineering, scheduling, phasing recommendations, coordination with the District and design team, development of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), subcontractor procurement and coordination, and construction services. Because the final project scope and delivery approach may be refined during the design and preconstruction process, the District reserves the right to determine, in consultation with the design team and CMAR, whether the project or portions of the project are best accomplished through renovation of existing facilities, construction of a new standalone building, or a combination of both, subject to the District's approved project scope and funding. Initial contract term shall be from date of award, through June 30th, 2027, with an option to renew for up to FOUR (4) YEARS.
