Vertical Tank Storage Removal (Sources Sought)

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The 673d Contracting Squadron (673 CONS), Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, is conducting market research to identify potential sources that can provide disassembly, removal, and disposal of the Government's current External Aircraft Fuel Tank Storage System (EAFTSS). This Sources Sought is pursuant to RFO Part 10 in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to determine if this effort can be competitive and to determine the appropriate set-aside (if any). This is not a Request for Quote (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research. 1. Service Information The Contractor shall provide all personnel and equipment necessary to perform disassembly, removal, and disposal services on the Vertical Tank Storage System as defined in the PWS. There are a total of 100 positions to be removed, Model V-100-2. Additional information on the expected services can be found in attachment 1, Performance Work Statement. 2.
