Description
SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT INCLUSION OF SOLE SOURCE (BRAND NAME) SPECIFICATIONS IN A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT – JBE 089 CRH SIMULATOR FACILITY BUILDING, JBER, ALASKA - AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed items as part of a larger construction contract to be executed on JBER, Alaska. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific items listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference RFO 6.103-1(d), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Application for brand name descriptions.” Items: 1. Monaco Transceiver MAAP-X Alarm Control Panel: The Fire Department utilizes a Monaco D-21 supervising station for monitoring the fire alarm systems in all buildings on the installation. The fire alarm system in each facility must have the capability to communicate with the installation-wide systems. 2. Best Interchangable Core-Cormax, 7-pin, Standard Keyway: Elmendorf has established Best as the Installation’s master keying system with which all lock cores and keyless entry systems must be compatible. 3. Federal Signal Mass Notification Panel: The building mass notification systems (BMNS) is required to interface with the JBER Federal Signal Remote Mass Notification ACU’s unit for emergency broadcasts in all facilities. 4. PowerLogic ION 8650: Every new building or facility is required to have a smart energy meter that will be able to automatically log energy usage and report the logged data to a central energy management database. It must meet Cyber security reuirements and AMRS compatibility. 5. Meridan EMCS System: All new individual building controls systems be connected to and fully compatible with the existing base-wide building control and monitoring system. The systems must be able to communicate with the main control station. 6. Knox Box: Joint Base Elmendorf (JBER) has standardized the systems on the installation, requiring that all new construction specify installation of only the Knox Box. 7. Automated Logic Control: JBER requires all new individual building controls systems be connected to and fully functional with the existing base-wide automated logic building control and monitoring system. It must be compatible with and provide intelligent communications with the supervising station, permitting full monitoring and control of all devices from the Supervising Station System. THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation will be available as these sole source items will be incorporated into the specifications of a FY26 solicitation for a construction project on JBER, Alaska. Vendors who offer the above items which can meet all of the above functional criteria are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information: 1. Identification of the manufacturer’s name, address, and country of product manufacture. 2. Fully detailed specification sheets. 3.
