PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE State Vocational Rehabilitation Committee Quarterly Meeting The State Vocational Rehabilitation Committee (SVRC) will be holding its next quarterly meeting via teleconference on September 8 and 9, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day. The public can listen in to the meeting: (888) 475 4499 US Toll-free - Meeting ID: 328 493 2828 Passcode: 001155 Meeting Purpose The SVRC is appointed by the Governor to provide oversight and to assist the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) in developing and evaluating the DVR program. An agenda will be available before the meeting on the committee’s website: https://www.labor.alaska.gov/svrc/ Public Testimony The SVRC will hear public testimony via the telephone on September 8 from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. The testimony is used, along with consumer satisfaction surveys and other data, to measure the quality and effectiveness of the program in helping people with disabilities who want to find and keep a good job. HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN PUBLIC TESTIMONY 1. SEND AN EMAIL with your testimony to dol.svrc@Alaska.gov. Your email should include your permission to read it aloud at the public meeting and be received by us by 11 a.m.., September 7, 2026. 2. CALL IN to the meeting on September 8, 2026, between 1:30 and 2:00 p.m. using the call-in information above. Each caller will have 5 minutes to speak their testimony. You may hear the meeting in session when you call. We will check the phone line periodically. Press * 6 to unmute your phone. 3. WRITE A LETTER with your testimony and include your permission to read it aloud at the public meeting. Mail your testimony with enough time to reach our office by 11 a.m.., September 7, 2026, and address it to: SVRC Chairperson PO Box 115516 Juneau, AK 99811-5516 If we receive your testimony after the deadlines listed above, it will be read at a future SVRC quarterly public meeting.
