State of Alaska Online Solicitation REQUEST FOR GRANT PROPOSALS Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program ALN 16.738 The Division of Alaska State Troopers seeks subaward proposals from eligible applicants for the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2025 funding under the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program. Funding may also be available through allocations from FFY 2023 or FFY 2024 JAG awards, subject to availability and applicable program requirements. Eligible applicants include local units of government with priority consideration given to current participants. The Department of Public Safety has identified law enforcement programs as the JAG purpose area with priority funding for enforcement that increases efforts toward the multi-jurisdictional drug task force programs. The total amount of JAG federal funds available to the State to pass through to local units of government is approximately $428,193.00 . All awards are subject to the availability of appropriated funds and to any modifications or additional requirements that may be imposed by law. Additionally, funding may be available from prior FFY 2023 or 2024 JAG awards, continent upon availability and applicable program requirements. Applications and ranked scores will be retained and eligible applicants will be contacted if additional funds are available. For projects involving a task force, participants will be required to: Submit monthly statistical reports to document enforcement efforts Utilize Alaska Information Analysis Center (AKIAC) for sharing drug intelligence and case deconfliction Coordinate and collaborate with Regional Drug Task Force Commanders and/or High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Initiative Commanders Complete online Task Force Training For all projects receiving funding, participants will be required to: Submit quarterly financial and progress reports with full and complete backup documentation The request for grant proposals and application documents may be downloaded from this site https://aws.state.ak.us/OnlinePublicNotices/default.aspx , select Browse Active Notices; Public Safety; Grants: Request for Proposal.
