Russian Mission - Permit for New Landfill SW3A203-31

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue Solid Waste Disposal Permit No. SW3A203-31, to the City of Russian Mission, to operate a Class III community landfill. APPLICANT INFORMATION: Landowner: Russian Mission Native Corporation Landfill Operator: City of Russian Mission Location: Section 26 & 36, Township 20 North, Range 67 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The City of Russian Mission proposes operating a Class III Community Landfill to serve the 421 residents of Russian Mission. The community is estimated to produce 384 tons of solid waste per year. Waste accepted will include ash from municipal solid waste, septage, and construction and demolition debris.
