STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES DIVISION OF MINING, LAND AND WATER PUBLIC NOTICE Requesting Input for Proposed Noncompetitive Sale to Public and Charitable Use Applicant - ADL 234806 AS 38.05.810 COMMENT PERIOD ENDS 4:30 PM, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2026 The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW) is conducting a public notice for a noncompetitive land sale located approximately five miles east of Anchor Point. The legal description for the parcel is NE1/4 SE1/4 AND SE1/4 SW1/4 of Section 7, Township 5 South, Range 14 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska, according to the plat approved by the U.S. Surveyor General’s Office on May 29, 1919, containing approximately 80 acres, more or less. Pursuant to AS 38.05.945 Notice, the public is invited to submit comments on the Preliminary Decision. The deadline for public comment is 4:30 PM, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2026. Only persons from whom DNR DMLW receives timely, written comment during the identified comment period will be eligible to file an appeal of the Final Finding and Decision (FFD).
