STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES DIVISION OF MINING, LAND and WATER PUBLIC NOTICE Requesting Input for Proposed Noncompetitive Sale to Public and Charitable Use Applicant - ADL 422800 AS 38.05.810 Comment Period Ends 4:30 PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2026 The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW) is conducting a public notice for a noncompetitive land sale located approximately seven miles southeast of Ester, in the Fairbanks North Star Borough. The legal description for the parcel is Lot 5, Section 6, Township 2 South, Range 2 West, Fairbanks Meridian, containing 30.92 acres, more or less. Pursuant to AS 38.05.945 Notice, the public is invited to submit comments on the Preliminary Decision. The deadline for public comment is 4:30 PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Only persons from whom DNR DMLW receives timely, written comment during the identified comment period will be eligible to file an appeal of the Final Finding and Decision (FFD).
