LAS 36155 Chet Bell Land Use Permit Application for Staging Gold Creek

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION LAS 36155 Chet Bell Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has received an application for the following: APPLICANT: Chet Bell PROJECT NAME: LAS 36155 GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located at the Gold Creek Runway, near milepost 197 of the Dalton Highway. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 17, Township 31 North, Range 10 West, Fairbanks Meridian Coordinate: 67.50968, -149.84856 REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The Division of Mining, Land, and Water (DMLW) has received a land use permit application from Chet Bell for a staging area for parked vehicles and the storing of non-hazardous materials in support of mining operations on Emery Creek (APMA 5964). Materials would be stored in a secured, enclosed 8 x 20 ft. container. The total parking and storage area would be approximately 0.5 acres, with access to the area via highway vehicle via the adjacent Dalton Highway.
