NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION LAS 36060 FRANK SANDERS, dba ALASKA TROPHY OUTFITTERS, INC. Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following: APPLICANT: FRANK SANDERS, dba ALASKA TROPHY OUTFITTERS, INC. PROJECT NAME: LAS 36060 ENCLOSED DOCUMENTS: Redacted Application, Supplemental Application, Site Map GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: The permit area is situated off the west bank of Iliamna River, approximately 20 miles ENE of Pedro Bay. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 25 West, Seward Meridian REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Applicant Frank Sanders, dba Alaska Trophy Outfitters, Inc., is requesting the issuance of a five-year land use permit for the placement and use of a 12-foot by 15-foot tent platform for a seasonal commercial guiding camp during the months of May, and August through October, along with the use of two short-term portable camps. PROPOSED DATES OF USE: Start: May 1, 2026 End: April 30, 2031 DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: August 11, 2026 The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above.
