Description
The Division of Forestry & Fire Protection (DFFP) invites public comments on the proposed 2026 Five-Year Schedule of Timber Sales (FYSTS) for Tok–Copper River. The schedule includes proposed timber sales for fiscal years 2026 to 2030. The draft Five-Year Schedule document with overview maps is available at http://forestry.alaska.gov/timber/fiveyearschedules. Copies may be picked up at any of the Area DFFP offices. Individual sales may be viewed using the Alaska DNR Forestry Resources Viewer (https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/82e11f6660d34b568319643cadee80ab). This interactive online resource will serve as a hub for current information regarding timber sales, reforestation, and the Five-Year Schedule of Timber Sales. To have comments considered, they must be received no later than Friday, August 21, 2025 by 11:59 PM AKST.
