NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION LAS 36092 Nathaniel Tuma DBA Legacy Guides and Outfitters Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following: APPLICANT: Nathaniel Tuma DBA Legacy Guides and Outfitters PROJECT NAME: LAS 36092 GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: 2 miles west of the Susitna River; Approx. 500 feet south of the Denali Highway, near mp 86.5. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 17, Range 1 East, Township 20 South, Fairbanks Meridian REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The establishment of a year-round commercial recreation basecamp to include two temporary, modular structures, one pit privy, and fuel storage in support of big game guiding and trapping tours. (Dimensions: 8'x12' and 12'x16') PROPOSED DATES OF USE: Start: August 2026 End: July 2031 DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: July 27, 2026 The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above.
