PUBLIC AND AGENCY NOTICE Public Utility Easement Matanuska Electric Association Amendment to ADL 234279 August 17, 2026 Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land, and Water (DMLW), Southcentral Regional Land Office (SCRO) has received an application amendment for the following development: APPLICANT: Matanuska Electric Association PROJECT NAME: ADL 234279 GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Point Mackenzie Correctional Farm, Wasilla, Alaska LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 1 of Township 15 North, Range 5 West, Seward Meridian REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The applicant has requested to incorporate a pre-existing overhead utility line that is approximately 500 feet long by 30 feet wide, 0.344 acres more or less, to a previously proposed 17-foot-long utility easement across state-owned, DNR-managed lands that was first distributed for public and agency notice on August 30, 2024. No new construction or realignment is proposed at this time. REQUESTED TERM: Indefinite DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: August 31, 2026 The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 West 7 th Avenue, Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK, 99501 on or before the date noted above.
