State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources Division of Mining, Land & Water Southcentral Regional Land Office 550 W. 7 th Ave., Suite 900C Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 Public Notice: Proposed Lease ADL 229944 Pursuant to AS 38.05.945 (USGS Quad Map Anchorage D-6) Pursuant to AS 38.05.810(b) – (d) the Southcentral Regional Land Office (SCRO) has made a Preliminary Decision to offer a 10-year lease to The American Alpine Club for an existing 0.25-acre backcountry hut and outhouse near Snowbird Glacier, Talkeetna Mountains, Alaska. The site is located within Section 1 of Township 20 North, Range 1 East, Seward Meridian. The public is invited to review and comment on this Preliminary Decision. A copy of the Preliminary Decision can be found at https://aws.state.ak.us/OnlinePublicNotices/default.aspx . To be eligible to appeal DNR’s Final Decision, under AS 38.05.035(i)-(m), a person must have submitted written comments during this comment period.
