2026 South Point Higgins Beach Parking Expansion

The Ketchikan Gateway Borough is seeking sealed bids for a General Contractor to perform site improvements per the across two unimproved lots located at approximately 1000 block South Point Higgins Road (Parcel No.'s 313640135035 and 313640135030). The site improvements include selective tree cutting, brush clearing, grading, and fill for parking, sidewalks and walking paths; drainage improvements including culverts and sloped grades; and installation of selective signage. Work will be conducted in proximity to a bald eagle nesting tree located on Parcel # 313640135030 considerations to avoid disturbance.
