AFPET Flame-Ionization Detector (FID) Gas Generator Repair & Refurbishment Service

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Base Support Branch (AFLCMC/PZIBB) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), OH intends to award a sole source contract to: PARKER-HANNIFIN CORPORATION 6035 Parkland BLVD Cleveland, Ohio 44124-4186, United States This requirement is for the following: CLIN Item Quantity CLIN 0001 Repair and Refurbishment Service for the Flame- 1 Each Ionization Detector (FID) 1000 (S/N: FVN7QJSL), in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). CLIN 0002 Repair and Refurbishment Service for the Flame- 1 Each Ionization Detector (FID) 2500 (S/N: K01RCMEG), in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order and carried out as a sole source action (not competitively awarded). This authority is supported by an approved Single Source Justification. The applicable NAICS code is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. This NAICS code has a small business size standard of $34.0M. The Air Force Petroleum Agency’s Aerospace Fuels Laboratory at Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB) is seeking a nonpersonal service contract for the repair and refurbishment of two (2) Flame-Ionization Detector (FID) gas generators. The specific Product ID's and Serial Numbers of the instruments in need of repair are as follows: Product ID: FID-1000 (Serial Number: FVN7QJSL) Product ID: FID-2500 (Serial Number: K01RCMEG) Parker-Hannifin Corporation is the only certified vendor capable of providing the repair and refurbishment service for the two (2) Flame-Ionization Detector (FID) gas generators listed above without negating/voiding the product warranties. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 18 September 2026 @ 4:00 PM EDT will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes.
