6515--Bariatric Patient Bed

The VHASLCHCS Facility requires a purchase of a single specialty hospital bed to replace the previously relied upon solution of contracted, per-instance rental beds. The needs required to be covered by this new bed are that of Specialty Bariatric bed features for caring for patients dealing with weight management, mobility difficulties, severe obesity, bariatric surgery, etc. This bariatric bed purchased will need be housed/used/stored on location, and this is projected to be the best utilization of facility funds and benefit to timeline workflow of delivering safe and dignified bariatric care.
