Wastewater Treatment Plant Intensification Study

The City of Conroe is seeking qualifications from experienced professional consulting firms to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the existing Southwest Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), located at 2400 Sgt. Ed Holcomb Blvd South, Conroe, Texas. The facility currently utilizes conventional chlorine disinfection and has an average daily flow of 6.73 MGD as of July 31, 2026. The study will evaluate the plant’s existing condition, capacity, and treatment performance; identify opportunities for process intensification and operational improvements; and assess measures needed to enhance regulatory compliance. Historical operational and performance data will be provided to the selected consultant.
