LETTING LOCATION: Florida Department of Transportation D6 POSTING DATES: 08/18/2026 and 09/02/2026 CONTRACT DAYS: 365 CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: N/A This is a work Order driven contract that consists of providing an efficient and safe operation drainage system and correcting any deficiencies within the problem areas as part of the District Storm Water Management System and in compliance with the NPDES program requirements in Miami-Dade County. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Department's estimated quantities and the Contractors' bid price will be used to calculate the total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder; however, actual payment under the awarded contract will be based on actual quantities completed. For this Contract in which specific sites are not identified at the time of letting, the Engineer will issue a Work Document. Work Documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to be accomplished, and the number of calendar days to complete the work. Bidders must complete and submit the Experience in Drainage Repair (Form No. 850-070-05) with the bid as an attachment or the bid may be deemed non-responsive. ***The award will be made at the Department Advertised Estimate amount of $750,000.00.
