Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, intends to issue a Firm Fixed Priced contract under the authority of 31 USC §3304(a)(5), 38 U.S. Code § 8127(c), as implemented by RFO 6.103-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute) and VAAR 819.7008 (DEVIATION). The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22 intends to non-competitively award this requirement to Fidelis Sustainability Distribution, LLC. New Mexico VA Healthcare System (NMVAHCS) at Albuquerque, NM is requesting to upgrade the existing Wander Management System. The requirement includes expansion of the current system by installing new Wander Management components to cover a wider area in the medical center. The current system in place is manufactured by RF Technologies, Inc. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541990 with a size standard of $19.5 million. The applicable Product Service Code is DA01. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. No telephonic inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be emailed to Edgar Alvizar, Contract Specialist, Edgar.Alvizar@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
