Methane Surface Emissions Monitoring

The County of Sacramento ("County") is soliciting proposals for qualified firms to provide methane surface emissions monitoring services for designated areas at Kiefer Landfill where humans cannot walk. Monitoring will need to be done using an alternative technology (drone, robot, etc.). Services shall comply with applicable federal, state, and local landfill gas monitoring requirements, including the alternative monitoring provisions contained in 40 CFR Part 60, and California Air Resources Board (CARB) Regulation Section 95471 Surface Emission Monitoring (SEM) procedures.
